Most guarantees are worthless. Even those offered by so called reputable companies. They’re all talk.
If you’ve had a bad experience with them you’ll know what we mean. You would be right to be sceptical about them
It’s amazing how some of these companies stay in business. They’re set up simply to make a profit and have an indifferent attitude to their customers. Dealing with them, even with trivial matters, is often a frustrating and bureaucratic nightmare.
No wonder people are sceptical when it comes to guarantees.
But we are decidedly different.
We are small enough to care about our reputation. We care so you know our guarantee will be honoured.
And it’s all clearly and simply spelt out.
No fine print.
No double talk.
No nonsense!
When Prime Minister John Howard introduced the Workplace Relations Bill to the House in 2005, he was asked by the Opposition if he could guarantee that no Australian would be worse off under this Bill.
Mr Howard smugly replied “My Guarantee is my record!”
You have to be a little sceptical but it sounds impressive doesn’t it?
But unlike anyone in business, Mr Howard doesn’t have any Fair Trading Department to answer to. Only the ballot box counts and by voting time everyone has forgotten about it.
But if it’s good enough for our Prime Minister it’s good enough for us.
Our guarantee is our record.
What is our record?
We’ve been in business for 12 years now and have NEVER had anyone claim under the guarantee. Check us out with the Fair Trading people if you wish but you won’t find any complaints, any fraud or wrongdoing of any kind anywhere.
As for refunds.
We’ve had about five requests in 12 years! And for various products.
One was from a gent who had difficulties with the English language. He felt there was too much reading for him and he couldn’t master it.
Another was from a gent who had very poor eyesight and trouble reading the print. We refunded his money without question.
Another returned his order unopened due to unforseen financial trouble.
Another was a gent who had brought the product previously and didn’t realise it was the same.
Another claimed our advertising was misleading but it really turned out he had just changed his mind or couldn’t really afford it in the first place but was too embarrassed to say so. We refunded part of his price.
As you can see these people weren’t really unhappy with what they got – it was their personal circumstances that caused a change of heart and we are only too happy to take that into account at any time.
We have a refund policy and it’s documented in our Product Disclosure Statements.
But it just sits there gathering dust.
So we don’t mind if the occasional person ask for his money back.
We only ask them to be honest and say why.
That gives us a chance to improve our products.
